Chinatown is a 2022 American computer-animated adventure fantasy comedy film directed by Gary Trousdale and written by Kiel Murray. Produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Skydance Animation, the film stars Eva Noblezada, Cathy Ang, Albert Tsai, Flula Borg, Sean Giambrone, Colin O'Donoghue, Jamie Lee Curtis and John Ratzenberger.
The film premiered at Science Museum in London on August 5, 2022, and it was released on August 12, by Amazon Studios on Prime Video and in select theaters in the United States the same day. The film was panned by critics, with praise for the voice acting and animation, but criticism for the worldbuilding, humor and plot.

Animation services were provided by Movie Land Digital Production Services (MLDPS) in San Francisco. Portions of production were done remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Release[]
The film was originally set to be released in theaters on May 14, 2021, by Paramount Pictures via its Paramount Animation label, but was delayed to February 25, 2022 before its current release date. On August 13, 2021, Amazon Studios both secured the distribution rights to the films Chinatown and Mr. Kup.
