Famous 5: Mystery Together is an upcoming American computer-animated mystery adventure comedy film based on the characters created by Enid Blyton. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Movie Land Animation Studios in association with Banijay, the film will feature Rihanna, Hailee Steinfeld, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Frank Welker and Michael Peña will reprise their roles from its predecessors. A sequel to Famous 5: A New Mystery, it sets six years after the events of its predecessors. The film was directed by James Yang, Radford Sechrist, and Rameshbabu Morkonda Sethuraman, in Radford and Rameshbabu's directorial debut, from the screenplay by Rodney Rothman, Adele Lim, and Greg Ernstrom and story by Ernstrom.

Shortly after the announcement that the series was being repurposed into a theatrical feature film, Rihanna, Hailee Steinfeld, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Frank Welker and Michael Peña were confirmed to reprise their respective roles from its predecessors. Steinfeld later confirmed that he had been involved with the project since its conception, including its development, stating: "I can't wait for fans to see the film, the technology, the effects, cutting edge. We all really went for it. We thought if we're gonna make a sequel to something so beloved, let's really go for it."

Animation[]

Animation was handled at Movie Land Digital Production Services' Germany and Spain studio beginning when it was being developed as a series, while the San Francisco, London, Vancouver, Sydney, Montréal, Mumbai, and Bangalore studio handled the animation services, with pre-production and storyboarding took place at Movie Land Animation Studios' Toronto studio. It is the first feature film to be made at MLDPS's Germany and Spain studio, but not the first project released, with Echo: A Spy Racers Story being released earlier that year. Additionally, Fortiche will handle the asset production services using proprietary software like RenderMan and Premo.

Music[]

Henry Jackman, Rupert Gregson-Williams, Lorne Balfe, and Tom Holkenborg will return to compose the film score. Music began recording on May 12, 2024 at the Panchathan Record Inn and AM Studios in Chennai, India. On June 23, 2024, it was announced that Brian Tyler would co-compose the score with them.
