Grossology: The Final Chapter is a 2023 American computer-animated action comedy film based on the book series Grossology written by Sylvia Branzei. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Movie Land Animation Studios, it is a sequel to Grossology 2. The final installment of the Grossology film series, it was directed by James Yang and Jos Humphrey, with a screenwriting from Nicholas Stoller, Rodney Rothman and Adele Lim. Unlike the first two films, The K Entertainment Company was not involved in the third film.

Grossology: The Final Chapter premiered in China on November 17, 2023 and was released in the United States, on December 1 by Sony Pictures Releasing, to positive reviews from critics. The film grossed over $311 million worldwide against its $90 million budget.

Grossology: The Final Chapter was theatrically released on December 1, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing. It was originally scheduled for a wide release on December 1, but plans changed to December 15 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Part of Sony's acquisition of Movie Land, the film was pushed back to its original release date. In theaters, it was accompanied by a short film Once Upon a Universe.

Home media

Grossology: The Final Chapter was released for purchase via video on demand on January 23, 2024, following the DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on March 5, 2024 by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

As part of their 18-month deal with Netflix, the film will stream on Movie Land Television for the first four months of the pay-TV window, then will move to Netflix for the next ten, and then will return to MLTV for the remaining four.
