Production

On July 25, 2023, the animated shorts produced in Southeast Asia, titled, JH Friends Collection: The Chibi Singapore Adventure, was announced, to be presented on Movie Land Channel before it was aired globally. The animated shorts, which was set in Singapore, was produced by Movie Land Animation Studios Singapore, with animation by Aum Animation Studios India, Kumar Coca and American-based Movie Land Digital Production Services. MLAS Toronto would also handle the story and design services.

Release

JH Friends Collection: The Chibi Singapore Adventure made its debut on Movie Land Channel via HBO Family on September 1, 2023. It began airing in Southeast Asia on October 27, 2023. During its airing time, one episode aired per weekend (and at one point aired two episodes in the same week). All ten episodes have aired as of December 15, 2023.

In the United States, the first two episodes had their premiere at ColossalCon in both Ohio and Texas on November 10, 2023. The episode per series was released in theaters by Sony Pictures Releasing throughout 2024, with the release of some films released by Columbia Pictures, starting with Graham, the first episode, which was released in theaters with Birds 3 on January 26, 2024.
