Satyaprem Ki Katha (Soldier) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film about a troubled marriage, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani as the titular protagonists. It is directed by Sameer Vidwans and jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures.[4]
The film was announced in June 2021. Principal photography commenced in September 2022 and wrapped up in April 2023. The film was theatrically released on 29 June 2023.[5]
Plot[]
Satyaprem alias "Sattu" is a Gujarati goofy, kind-hearted and good for nothing boy who is eager to marry Katha, who is the daughter of a well-known businessman Harikishen. Sattu's dreams unexpectedly come true when Katha's parents arrive at his house and ask for Sattu's hand in marriage. Sattu's tryst to get Katha to fall in love with him and in order to keep his marriage, ends up proving himself to be a worthy husband.

The film's music is composed by Meet Bros, Anjjan, Tanishk Bagchi, Manan Bhardwaj, Payal Dev and Rochak Kohli. Lyrics are written by Kumaar, A. M. Turaz, Tanishk Bagchi, Vayu, Manan Bhardwaj and Gurpreet Saini.
The first single titled "Naseeb Se" was released on 27 May 2023.[6] The second single titled "Aaj Ke Baad" was released on 10 June 2023.[7] The third single titled "Gujju Pataka" was released on 16 June 2023. The fourth single, titled "Sun Sajni," was released on June 21, 2023.[8] The fifth single titled "Pasoori Nu" was released on 26 June 2023.[9]
The song "Pasoori Nu" is a remake of the 2022 Pakistani song Pasoori sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, composed by Ali Sethi, Fazal Abbas and written by Ali Sethi and Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan.[10]
The sixth single titled "Le Aaunga" was released on 1 July 2023.[11]The seventh single titled "Raat Baaki" and the eighth single titled "Aaj Ke Baad-Reprise" were released on 1 July 2023.
