Tom the Hand: The Movie is a 2017 American live-action/computer-animated adventure action comedy film based on the TV series of its same name created by Ted V. Miller and Tom H. Zwick. It was directed by Chris Miller and was produced by Village Roadshow Pictures, RatPac-Dune Entertainment and Walden Media.
Tom the Hand: The Movie was theatrically released in the United States on December 22, 2017, by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film received positive reviews from critics for its visual effects, animation and action sequences. It became a box-office success, sets its records and gross over $433.9 million worldwide against a production budget of $74 million.
A sequel, Tom the Hand 2: Tom Returns, was released in September 2018.
Plot[]
This is a story about Tom and his best friend Mark was just the way beginning. The hands and the stuffed animals are planning to defeat the evil cat Warley, the iguana named Bracko and the apricot dog named Hunter Rourke. That's what they want to do with the stuffed animals and the hands.

On December 2, 2014, Ted V. Miller announced an untitled Tom the Hand film by Warner Animation Group. Chris Miller was set to direct the film with the screenplay from J. David Stern, David N. Weiss, Glenn Berger, Michael Finnell, Peter S. Seaman and Robert Zemeckis. In December 2016, Warner Bros. announced that it would be scheduled to be released on September 22, 2017 in the United States.

The visual effects and animation were provided by Moving Picture Company (MPC), Movie Land Digital Production Services (MLDPS), and Pixomondo. It uses the computer animation and visual effects to animate the hands, creatures and animals.
