Tom the Hand 3 is a 2019 American live action/computer-animated adventure action comedy film based on the television series of its same name by Ted V. Miller and Tom H. Zwick. The film stars Ted V. Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Ben Zwick, Andy Samberg, Will Ferrell and Benedict Cumberbatch with newcomers Lizzie Waterworth and Chloe Bennet. Itiss a sequel to 2018's Tom the Hand 2: Tom Returns and the third installment of the Tom the Hand film franchise and the Tom the Hand film series and was directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
Tom the Hand 3 was theatrically released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on June 28, 2019. The film received generally mixed to favorable reviews from critics and grossed $439.3 million worldwide on a $86 million production budget. Movie Land Animation Studios, which was not involved with the previous three, co-produced the sequel, Tom the Hand 4, with Legendary Pictures and was released on December 25, 2020.

Filming[]
Principal production began on January 15, 2018, in London, England and Denver, Colorado. Nine days later, Tim Burton announced that principal photography had officially begun. Principal photography concluded on May 1, 2018.
Post-production[]
Visual effects and computer animation for the film were provided by MPC, Movie Land Digital Production Services, Rising Sun Pictures, and The Bellas VFX Studios. Much of the visual effects were provided by the same team behind Guardians of the Galaxy, The Jungle Book, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Henry Jackman returned to compose the film score, while James Newton Howard, Lorne Balfe and Tom Holkenborg handled their film's music score. The soundtrack was released on June 28, 2019 by WaterTower Music. The score is included as a part of Jackman's score catalog acquired by Reservoir Media in March 2022. The score is also included as a part of Tom the Hand: The Ultimate Movie Score Collection, which was released on April 7, 2023.

Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 58 out of 100 based on 27 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews". The fourth film subtitled, Tom the Hand 4 was released on December 25, 2020 in theaters and on HBO Max for a month before moving to Qubo until February 28, 2021 and then moved again to Netflix on March 2, 2021.
